Leanne Duong-Ma
President & Founder Leanne Duong-Ma, President and Founder of Direct Source Procurement, is a true entrepreneur at heart. With more than two decades of experience in sourcing, supply chain and related procurement operations, Leanne is a master in her field. She's an expert in overseeing high-profile sourcing projects, with a successful record in leading cross-functional teams and negotiating national and global projects for multimillion-dollar contracts. But that's not all - Leanne is also a mother and a constant learner, with unwavering drive to make things better. Her passion for problem-solving started early on in life, as she was always the go-to person in her family, the "fixer". She had a strong desire to become an entrepreneur, and when she and her husband had their two boys, she decided to take the leap and establish her own company in 2017. Leanne's strong entrepreneurial spirit runs in her blood. Her grandparents, parents, and siblings own successful businesses in the retail, wholesale and/or foodservice industry. For her, starting her own business was a natural next step. Growing up in Germany, Leanne was exposed to environmentally friendly surroundings from a young age. She's passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the world around her. Leanne is a warm, friendly, and professional leader who's committed to giving back to the community. She's a representative of WBENC's National Forum and has served until recently as the Regional Chair of WBEC-West Nevada and a board member of ISM Institute for Supply Management Nevada. At Direct Source Procurement, giving back is a core value, and the company actively volunteers and donates to nonprofit organizations and noteworthy causes. Leanne earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. She is fluent in English, German and Vietnamese. When she is not busy running her company, Leanne enjoys reading, baking, hiking and spending quality time with her husband, their two boys, and Golden Labrador, Biscuit. |
