Ms. Duong-Ma is an Institute for Supply Management (ISM) certified purchasing manager (C.P.M.) and accredited purchasing practitioner (A.P.P.) with nearly two decades of experience in procurement, supply chain and related purchasing operations.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur and starting her own company, Ms. Duong-Ma oversaw various high-profile sourcing projects for the CityCenter opening, the largest privately funded construction project in U.S. history and for MGM Resorts International, a Fortune 500 global entertainment company featuring best-in-class hotels and casinos, state-of-the-art meetings and conference spaces, incredible live and theatrical entertainment experiences, and an array of some of the most recognizable restaurant, nightlife and retail offerings in the world. During her long career, Ms. Duong-Ma also served as a department lead with a regional distributor as well as a Director of Procurement with Wolfgang Puck, one of the world’s most well-known restaurants spanning the globe.
Ms. Duong-Ma has always been passionate about her profession. Helping internal customers to realize cost savings was one of the most enjoyable part. She envisioned running a business that serves a number of companies and impacting their bottom line. In 2013, she established Direct Source Procurement (DSP) in Las Vegas, Nevada and has been running the company full-time since 2017.
Ms. Duong-Ma brings her experience as both a customer and supplier to deliver the company’s high customer service standards and personalized service. Combined with her expertise and industry background Direct Source Procurement has become a unique and trusted advisor to its customers.
DSP believes in giving back by volunteering and donating a portion of the company’s profit to charities and other noteworthy causes.
Ms. Duong-Ma holds an MBA and bachelor’s in business administration from Universität Duisburg-Essen in Duisburg, Germany. She is a board member of ISM Nevada and Regional Senior Vice Chair for the WBEC-West Leadership Forum. Away from the office, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and spending time with her husband and children.
